一天早上，小明和小文坐在课室里，准备上华文课。小文打开笔盒，发现自己忘了带铅笔。他在书包里翻找了好一会儿，还是找不到，心里十分着急。
小明看见了，轻声问：“你怎么了？”小文低着头说：“我没有带铅笔。”小明连忙从笔盒里拿出一支铅笔，递给小文，说：“这支先借给你吧！”
小文接过铅笔，开心地说：“谢谢你！放学后我就还给你。”小明笑着说：“不客气！”两人便开始认真写字。老师经过时，看见他们互相帮助，也露出了笑容。
小文不再着急了。小明能帮助同学，心里也很快乐。他觉得，助人为乐是一件有意义的事。
